Statement of Faith

ur Statement of Faith at Community Life Fellowship contains the fundamental elements of what we believe as a fellowship:

In the Authority of God's Word: The Bible is inspired by God. It is the revelation of God to man,the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

One True God: There is one true God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Deity of Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.

Fall of Man: Man was created good and upright but by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God.

Salvation of Man: Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is by grace, a free gift of God apart from works and is turning from one's own way to God's way.

Ordinances of the Church: Water Baptism by immersion is commanded in Scripture. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Holy Communion, or the Lord's Supper, is a symbol of our sharing the divine nature, a reminder of His suffering and death, and a proclamation of His second coming.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit: All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit. With it comes enduement of power for life and service. It is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth.

Santification: Is an act of separation from that which is evil, and a dedication to God.

Church and Its Mission: The church is the universal body of Christ of which each believer is a part. We believe in the spiritual unity of all who are born of God, and that Jesus Christ is Lord of the church.

Ministry: Every believer is called and gifted for ministry. We also believe in the "five-fold ministry".

Divine Healing: Is an integral part of the gospel, provided for in the Atonement.

Resurrection, Reign of Christ, and Final Judgment: We believe in the resurrection of those who have died in Christ and their being caught up together with those who are alive at the coming of the Lord, the literal, visible return of Christ to reign on earth, and a final judgment of the wicked dead according to their works.
